The Ministry of Transport was prominently represented at the first-ever National Climate Justice Summit in Liberia

The Ministry of Transport was prominently represented at the first-ever National Climate Justice Summit in Liberia, organized by ActionAid Liberia, held at the EJS Ministerial Complex from October 30 to November 1.

Representing the MoT at this landmark dialogue, Mr. Spencer S. Taylor, the Director of Climate Change and Environment, delivered a compelling special remarks on behalf of the Ministry, reiterating its unwavering commitment to supporting sustainable practices and policies that advocate for a just transition in both the transport and energy sectors.

In addition to his keynote address, Mr. Taylor participated as a panelist on Day 2 of the summit, where he provided valuable insights into the Ministry’s efforts aimed at reducing carbon emissions and facilitating a just energy transition across the transport sector.

He expresses his profound gratitude to the  Hon . Minister Sirleaf Ralph Tyler and his team of Ministers particularly Hon. Rudolph G. Natt, Deputy Minister for Land and Rail Transport for the confidence placed in him to represent the Ministry at this significant national event.
