Ministry of Transport to Launch Vehicle Registration Compliance Enforcement on April 17, 2024, Nationwide
The Ministry of Transport is expected to commence on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, a rigorous vehicle registration compliance enforcement exercise in Monrovia and its environs, as well as across the country. It can be recalled that the Ministry suspended all vehicle inspections in August 2023 to help give way to the conduct of peaceful electoral processes in Liberia.
During the pending vehicle registration compliance enforcement exercises, the joint enforcement team comprising of the Ministry of Transport, the Liberia National Police and the Liberia Revenue Authority will search for valid vehicle registration documents, motor insurance certificates, or stickers as well as vehicle road worthiness.
Therefore, all operators and owners of cars, kekeh (tricycles), and motorcycles operating in Monrovia and across the Country are advised to proceed at the Ministry or any of its service centers including, Kakata, Margibii County, Ganta, Nimba County, Buchana, Grand Bassa County, Gbarnga, Bong County and Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County, as well as the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Ministerial Complex in Congo Town, Monrovia to access our services.
All those concerned are asked to take due note and comply to avoid the embarrassments.
