Monrovia, Thursday, April 8, 2021: The video circulating on Social Media showing a Traffic Warden Officer, Benedietus B. Broderick of the Ministry of Transport and a Traffic Police Officer of the Liberia National Police (LNP) assaulting a vehicle operator is strongly condemned by the Ministry of Transport.

The action is unacceptable and unethical and it has the proclivity to damage the good image of the Ministry. 

The Minister of Transport, Hon.  Samuel A. Wlue today held a Senior Management meeting relating to the action in the video by Mr. Broderick and has promised to take serious Administrative action pending investigation.

He said, he is very disappointed in the minor and form the LNP and MOT's Warden Officers treated the vehicle operator even if he has committed an act of traffic violation or exhibited any unruly acts.
