Monrovia: Tuesday, January 31, 2017: Transport Minister, Samuel A. Wlue has strongly warned employees of the Ministry against processing documents for taxpayers. He said as a Ministry, it is proper that employees allow taxpayers to process their own registration documents to save the image of the institution because any wrongful act committed by an employee or employees will defame the reputation of the Ministry and bring its credibility into public disrepute.

Addressing over 200 employees on the ground floor of the Ministry on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 during the second general staff meeting, Minister Wlue warned employees against this practice. He told the employees that one of his major goals is to ensure that processed documents and license plates for taxpayers are delivered to them in a timely fashion.

Touching capacity building, Minister Wlue informed the employees that plans are underway to conduct some internal trainings so as to maximize efficiency, maintain integrity and engender productivity within the Ministry of Transport. “If need be, shifting will be done”, he stressed.

Concluding, Minister Wlue expressed heartfelt thanks and sincere deep appreciation to all employees of the Ministry for the sacrifices they have made for the last sixty days since he took over as Minister resulting to the job well done and the cooperation they have accorded him. He called on the employees to increase their dedication to their various duties so as to raise the needed revenue for the national government and for the overall growth of the Ministry.
