Monrovia, Monday, February 8, 2016: Honorable Kansualism B. Kansuah, the newly appointment Assistant Minister for Land & Rail Transport, on Monday February 8, 2016, officially took over the mantle of authority of the office at a colorful ceremony at the Ministry of Transport.


Speaking during the official takeover, Hon. Kansuah promised to work assiduously for the growth of the Ministry of Transport. He described the Land and Rail Section as the main operational arm of the Ministry of Transport and vowed to take the Ministry to another level. He challenged staff of the Land and Rail Department to be more vigorous, strong and proactive on the job and that he is open to suggestions. " I have come to join the Ministry of Transport family with open heart for us to develop the relevant transport policies consistent with current day's realities," the young Assistant Minister concluded.


For her part, the Deputy Minister for Land and Rail at the Ministry of Transport, Hon. Juanita T. Bropleh congratulated Assistant Minister Kansuah for his appointment and expressed her willingness to work with him in moving the Ministry forward.


In welcome remarks earlier, Deputy Minister for Administration & Insurance, Hon. Bushuben M. Keita, warmly welcomed Hon. Kansuah to the Ministry of Transport and wished him success as he officially takes over his new portfolio. He congratulated him for his preferment.


The occasion which lasted for about forty-five minutes was graced by nearly all directors of the Ministry of Transport, parents and other relatives of the new Assistant Minister, the press, among other.
