Monrovia, August 7, 2015: The newly appointed Deputy Minister for Land & Rail at the Ministry of Transport, Honorable Juanita Traub Bropleh has officially taken office.

Speaking during a colorful official takeover program held on Thursday, August 6, 2015, at the Ministry of Transport on Broad Street, Deputy Minister Bropleh said that she has joined the Ministry with open arms to work with all for the growth of the Ministry. She called on employees of the Ministry to unite and work harder for the advancement of the institution. She emphasized that even though she is leaving the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA), she was happy to take over the new portfolio whose terms of reference directly is also revenue generation.

Deputy Minister Bropleh extended thanks and appreciation to Her Excellency, Madam Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, President of the Republic of Liberia for the confidence reposed in her to serve Liberia in this capacity at this time and pledged to work harder to justify the confidence reposed in her.

In a special statement, Deputy Transport Minister for Administration, Hon. Bushuben M. Keita who deputized for Minister Angela Cassell Bush, heartily welcomed Deputy Minister Bropleh to the Ministry and assured her of full cooperation as she assumes her new portfolio. He expressed the hope that with her wealth of experience, Deputy Minister Bropleh will immensely contribute in buttressing the efforts of the current team for the advancement of the Ministry of Transport. Deputy Minister Keita further called on Directors and employees of the  Ministry to accord Madam Bropleh their full cooperation for the successful achievement of her mandate.

The program which was held in the office of the Deputy Minister for Administration, was attended by all Directors of the Ministry of Transport, representatives from the Liberia Revenue Authority(LRA), the Press, among others.
