LCAA Donates To Ministry of Transport


Friday, December 26, 2014: The Liberia Civil Aviation Authority (LCAA) has donated two sets of computers to the Ministry of Transport to enhance its logistical capacity.


Presenting the consignment on Friday, December 26, 2014, to the Acting Deputy Minister for Land & Rail, Hon. Abu B. Kamara, on behalf of Transport Minister, Angela Cassell-Bush, the Deputy Minister for Administration & Insurance, Hon. Bushuben M. Keita commended the management of the Liberia Civil Aviation Authority (LCAA) for the kind gesture and assured that the equipment will be used for the intended purpose. He said as the operational arm of the Ministry of Transport, the timely meeting of the logistical needs of the Department of Land & Rail remains a priority to administration to enhance its revenue generating capacity. He emphasized that administration is convinced that the Department of Land & Rail must be fully equipped to meet its goals of revenue generation.


Receiving the consignment, Acting Deputy Minister Kamara thanked administration for coming to the aid of the Department of Land & Rail and said the equipment will enhance the capacity of the Department. He then appealed to Minister Bush through Deputy Minister Keita to convey the Department’s gratitude to the management of Liberia Civil Aviation Authority (LCAA) for the generosity which has brought some relief.
