Transport Minister, Honorable Angela Cassell Bush, has resumed official duties at the Ministry of Transport following her self-isolation from the public as a result of the death of
Mr.Nimene Sumo,driver assigned to the Minister of Transport.
    
According to a Ministry of Transport Official Press Release issued at the time quoting the preliminary result from the Ministry of Health & Social Welfare, Mr. Sumo died of the deadly virus disease, EBOLA, on October 11, 2014.The release further said that the deceased made no contact with the Minister of Transport since his last day of work on Friday, October 3, 2014. As a matter of precaution, the Minister decided to voluntarily isolate herself from the public for 21 days beginning October 3, 2014.

 Speaking to reporters, Minister Bush said that her decision to isolate herself is intended to be in full compliance with the preventive measures against the deadly virus. She said it is just prudent for leaders to always lead by example and she is no exception. She emphasized that the time out of the office
re-invigorated her to concentrate on strategies to successfully implement major programs for the rebranding of the transport sector in Liberia.

The Minister has requested and obtained a clean bill of health from the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.
